Yadagirigutta temple timings run from Suprabhatam at 3.30 am to closing at 9.45 pm, with darshan open in several windows through the day. The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on Yadadri hill is about 60 km from Hyderabad, which makes it one of the easiest day trips for pilgrims in Telangana. Daily timings at Yadagirigutta
The Devasthanam’s timings page gives one schedule for every day. General darshan opens at 7 am, pauses for VIP break darshan from 9 am to 10 am and again from 4 pm to 5 pm, and closes for Maharaja Bhogam between noon and 1 pm. The last darshan window is 8.15 pm to 9 pm, and the temple closes at 9.45 pm.

Tuesday and Friday additions
Two weekly sevas are added to the schedule. On Tuesdays, Anjaneya Swamy Aaku Pooja is performed from 9 am to 11 am. On Fridays, Andalamma Unjal Seva is performed from 5 pm to 6 pm. Darshan windows are otherwise the same. The homepage planner applies these for any date you pick.
Darshan tickets and booking
Besides free general darshan, the Devasthanam sells two paid darshan tickets on its website: Special Entry darshan at ₹150 and Break Darshanam at ₹300. Break darshan uses the two VIP break windows, 9 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 5 pm.
The Devasthanam asks devotees to book darshan, sevas and accommodation at least 48 hours in advance on yadagiriguttatemple.telangana.gov.in. For accommodation queries it lists the number 8688322624.
About the temple
The temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha. According to the legend recorded by the Devasthanam, the sage Yadarishi performed penance in a cave on the hill, and the Lord, pleased with his devotion, appeared before him in five forms: Jwala Narasimha, Yogananda, Gandabherunda, Ugra and Lakshmi Narasimha. The origin of the temple is mentioned in the Skanda Purana.
Worship follows the Pancharatra Agama. A golden Sudarshana Chakra of about 3 ft by 3 ft stands above the sanctum, and it can be seen from about 6 km away as you approach the hill.
Getting to Yadagirigutta from Hyderabad
The Devasthanam puts the temple about 60 km from Hyderabad. By road it is 64 km, roughly 1 h 5 min of driving from central Hyderabad without traffic. To reach the 7 am darshan, leave Hyderabad by about 5 am to allow for the drive and an hour to park and queue. The table below shows the drive from other cities.
